Job summary

Intellect is seeking a Clinical Provider to support clients on their journey toward better mental health through our telehealth platform. This freelance remote role offers flexible hours and the option for onsite work when needed.

Join a mission-driven team, with supervision, CPD included, and opportunities for webinars, in-person seminars, and leadership opportunities across diverse clients from local to global organizations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Counseling Psychology or Clinical Psychology.
• Active professional registration: ACA or PACFA for Counsellors; AHPRA for Clinical Psychologists.
• Minimum 300 clinical hours post-master’s degree.
• Experience with trauma-related cases in mental health settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies such as CBT; MI, DBT, SFBT.
• Willingness to provide occasional onsite work if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 telehealth or onsite mental health support for clients.
• Address a range of clinical cases including depression and anxiety.
• Deliver CISP (Critical Incident Stress Programme) virtually or onsite as needed.
• Facilitate webinars and in-person seminars when available.
• Collaborate with internal clinical team to improve client programs.

What You'll Do

• Provide 1-on-1 telehealth/or onsite mental health support for Intellect's clients
• Address a range of clinical cases, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and more
• Deliver CISP (Critical Incident Stress Programme) virtually or onsite as needed
• Facilitate webinars and in-person seminars (optional)
• Partner with our internal clinical team to improve the platform and client programs

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Counseling, Counseling Psychology or Clinical Psychology

Professional Registration

• Counsellors: active membership/registration with ACA or PACFA
• Clinical Psychologists: general registration with AHPRA

Expertise & Skills

• Skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or other evidence-based approaches (e.g., Motivational Interviewing, DBT, SFBT) and CISP (Critical Incident Stress Program)
• A minimum of 300 clinical hours post-master’s degree
• Experience with trauma-related cases in psychiatric hospitals, mental health clinics, or similar settings
• Preferred prior experience with EAP, adult counseling, or coaching managerial roles
• Openness to occasional onsite work, if necessary, is a plus
