Slade Pharmacy in Port Macquarie Base Hospital is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for a 12‑month full‑time contract. Newly registered pharmacists are encouraged to apply and will receive structured training and mentorship from an experienced clinical team, with opportunities to gain diverse hospital exposure.

You will work closely with doctors and nurses to optimise medication management, with potential cross-site work at Kempsey District Hospital and relocation support available.

Formación

• Current general AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist, with no restrictions on practice.
• Permanent Australian working rights.
• Personal Indemnity insurance.

Responsabilidades

• Conducting medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation.
• Dispensing and supplying medication and pharmacy products.
• Coordinating patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge.
• Developing and maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients.
• Educating and advising staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the quality use of medicines.
