Job summary

Seymour Health is seeking Registered Nurses with post-graduate qualifications or experience in palliative care for a part-time role (4 days a week) in the Lower Hume Palliative Care service. The role covers community-based home care with assessment, symptom management and family support, working within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Description

Lower Hume Palliative Care currently has a vacancy for suitably qualified Registered Nurses with post graduate qualifications or experience working in palliative care.

This role is 4 days a week on a permanent part-time basis. The EFT for this role can be shared. Casual positions also available.

This role involves working as part of the community palliative care team. The team provide assessment and support of palliative clients and carers in their home. We specialise in managing symptoms, improving quality of life and offering emotional support while collaborating with various healthcare settings like GP's, specialists, hospitals, district nursing, allied health and residential facilities.
