Job summary

Our Client in the Central Coast, NSW, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead the aged care clinical team within a 5-star facility. You will be supported by a Residential Aged Care Manager, operating with two CNMs, and will manage clinical standards and governance while driving staff development.

They offer a salary of $125K plus superannuation and benefits, with extensive onboarding and leadership programs.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration and clinical experience.
• Experience working in a residential aged care or acute leadership role.
• Knowledge of AN-ACC, SIRs, clinical reporting and best practice.
• Experience in mentoring and developing clinical teams.
• Sound knowledge of aged care standards, compliance and clinical governance.
• Current Influenza and Covid vaccinations.
• Current National Police Clearance.

Responsibilities

Our client has built an excellent reputation in the area of Residential Aged Care, and they are a leading National Aged Care provider who have a wonderful company culture. They invest heavily in staff development, progression and your career. They deliver quality care and are seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to join their aged care team situated in a beautiful 5-star medium sized facility located in the Central Coast of NSW. You will be supported by a clinical Residential Aged Care Manager, and the facility operates with two CNMs.

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:

• Working with the Residential Aged Care Manager and CNM
• Ensuring clinical care is delivered in line with the aged care standards
• Support, coach and lead the clinical team
• Support the Facility Manager with staff leadership, training and education
• Reporting on clinical indicators and ensure best practice
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures

The Successful Candidate:
