NSW Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator for Inverell Hospital. This part-time, permanent role, delivering clinical education and mentoring to nurses and midwives, supports learning across the hospital, with a focus on evidence-based practice and patient safety.

You will lead by example, foster professional development, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to strengthen staff capabilities and patient outcomes in a rural healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA nursing registration.
• Post-registration qualifications in education or critical care, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills to engage, educate and inspire learners.
• Strong commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.

Responsabilités

• Deliver clinical education, training and support across Inverell Hospital.
• Develop staff and students’ clinical skills and confidence.
• Promote evidence-based practice and quality patient care.
• Provide feedback and support ongoing learning.
• Guide staff in applying clinical policies and procedures.
• Lead by example and encourage continuous improvement.
• Maintain clinical expertise and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
