Job summary

Bayside Health is seeking a Clinical Educator - Intensive Care to join the Peninsula Care Group education and clinical leadership teams. You will help plan, develop, coordinate, implement, deliver and evaluate ICU education services to enhance practice and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Postgraduate qualification in Advanced Clinical Nursing - Intensive Care or Critical Care nursing.
• Current and extensive experience in ICU.
• Prior experience in teaching or supporting learners.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning, development, coordination, delivery and evaluation of education services for Peninsula Care Group.
• Lead education initiatives to mitigate risk and advance clinical practice.
• Support staff along the novice to expert continuum and contribute to education strategy.

The Team & Role

The Clinical Educator - Intensive Care is an integral member of the education and clinical leadership teams; with particular focus on education to mitigate risk, advance clinical practice and develop staff along the novice to expert continuum. This position will participate in the planning, development, coordination, implementation, delivery and evaluation of education services for Peninsula Care Group.

Skills & Experience Required

• Registered nurse with current, condition-free AHPRA registration.
• Postgraduate qualification in Advanced Clinical Nursing - Intensive Care or Critical Care nursing.
• Current and extensive experience working in ICU.
• Prior experience in teaching or supporting learners.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
