Job summary

NSW Health in Griffith, NSW, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) to lead nursing education and support the professional development of the clinical team. You will deliver engaging, evidence-based programs and help translate learning into safe, high-quality patient care.

The role is a temporary full-time position (38 hours/week) at Griffith Health Service, offering a salary in the range shown and additional benefits such as superannuation and 17.5% leave loading where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering education to nursing staff
• Ability to develop and coordinate education programs
• Strong communication and mentoring skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate clinical education and professional development
• Orient, supervise and mentor staff, students and TPP participants
• Promote clinical leadership, best practice and a positive learning culture
• Contribute to district-wide education, training and policy development
• Provide unit-based and individual education and skill support
• Maintain contemporary practice and meet CNE/CME Framework requirements
• Participate in audits, quality activities and care delivery aligned with safety standards
