Job summary

Appletree Family Practice in Charlestown, NSW, seeks a dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator/Senior Registered Nurse to lead our nursing team. The role blends day-to-day clinical leadership with coordination of the treatment room and dedicated Chronic Disease Management and preventive health services.

You will work closely with GPs, nursing colleagues and the Practice Manager to maintain a positive, well-organised clinical environment and deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Strong clinical nursing experience and organisational skills.
• Confidence providing clinical guidance and support to colleagues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and mentoring to the nursing team.

• Maintain oversight of clinical safety, infection control, vaccine management and equipment.
• Contribute to clinical governance, accreditation and quality improvement initiatives.

• Support care planning, patient education, preventative health and follow-up.
• Provide hands-on clinical nursing care to GPs as required.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team in a full-time senior nursing position.

This is an opportunity for a Registered Nurse who enjoys providing clinical leadership, supporting colleagues and maintaining high standards of nursing care, while remaining actively involved in patient care.

The position combines day-to-day coordination of our nursing team and treatment room with dedicated Chronic Disease Management (CDM) and preventative health services.

Working closely with our GPs, nursing colleagues and Practice Manager, you will play an important role in maintaining a positive, collaborative and well-organised clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
