About The Role

The Clinical Nurse Consultant - Aged Care provides expert clinical organisation, coordination, leadership and consultancy services within the area of Aged Care across service groups, target populations and health care professionals within the Western NSW Local Health District.

Bathurst Health Service is located 3 hours west of Sydney over the Blue Mountains. It is a University City, has good transport services throughout the city, buses, trains and airplanes with regular connections to Sydney then interstate. Large sporting complexes, great restaurants, recreational activities and facilities. The hospital has a 31 bed Medical Ward, ED, Level 4 ICU, Level 4 Maternity services, Paediatrics services, 15 Bed Surgical ward, Rehabilitation unit onsite, and TACP beds, large inpatient and outpatient Allied Health support and expanding Ambulatory Care and HITH services. Educational support is available to staff, enthusiastic and supportive team on the ward, looking for interested and keen staff member to join our team.
