Job summary

Sunshine Coast Health in southeast Queensland is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coach to lead and deliver person-centred care at an advanced level in the Acute Services Unit.

The role emphasises education, clinical leadership and evidence-based practice across the service, with responsibility for a portfolio spanning clinical care, leadership, education and research. Permanent part-time, 32 hours per week, with salary packaging and strong superannuation support.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse/Midwife with appropriate Standards for Practice by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical education at point of care to students and staff.
• Lead development of a learning culture and promote evidence-based practice.
• Deliver nursing and/or midwifery services in health service settings.
• Manage a portfolio focusing on clinical care, leadership, education or research.

Job description

We're excited to welcome a Clinical Nurse Coach to our Acute Services Unit.

The Clinical Nurse / Midwife Coach leads and delivers person centred care at an advanced level based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia – Registered Nurse Standards for Practice / Midwife Standards for Practice, via facilitation of the competence and confidence of clinicians.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Providing clinical education at point of care to Nursing and Midwifery undergraduate students and staff across the health service.
• Actively engaging in the development of a learning culture within the clinical unit and models evidence-based practice at an advanced level relevant to the area of specialty.
• Providing nursing and/or midwifery services in health service settings.
• Responsible for a portfolio with a focus on clinical care/leadership, management, education and/or research.

Comprising salary rates $57.76 - $61.85 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (NG6(1)) (permanent part time, 32hrs p.f.).
