Job summary

Sunshine Coast Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coach to lead and deliver advanced nursing and midwifery care at Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Birtinya, and Caloundra Health Service. The role focuses on education at the point of care and developing a learning culture within the clinical unit.

Working under the Clinical Coach Framework, the CC will model evidence-based practice and report on education indicators, supporting staff and students across the health service.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NMBA registration.
• Experience in clinical education is desirable.
• Ability to lead and deliver person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing/midwifery care at an advanced level.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate clinical education at the unit level or point of care.
• Facilitate a learning environment by enabling staff to share knowledge and develop others.
• Report to Nurse Unit Manager and Nurse Educator and contribute to education indicators.
