Job summary

E4 People is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to lead a disability services team in a specialist disability accommodation setting in Brisbane. You will provide clinical oversight, mentor staff and support residents with complex needs to achieve greater independence and quality of life.

Join a supportive disability services team where your clinical expertise, leadership and passion for person-centred care will help people with complex needs live with greater independence, dignity and choice.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to take a hands-on leadership role within a specialist disability accommodation service, supporting residents with significant physical and/or intellectual disabilities.

The opportunity

Working within an apartment-style residential setting, you'll help lead the delivery of safe, high-quality care for residents with complex needs. From clinical oversight and care planning to mentoring staff and supporting individual goals, you'll play an important role in creating a positive, person-centred environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing clinical leadership and guidance to the care team
• Supporting residents with complex clinical and personal care needs
• Overseeing care plans, clinical documentation and quality standards
• Mentoring and developing staff to deliver safe, compassionate care
• Working collaboratively with families, support teams and health professionals
• Promoting resident independence, dignity, choice and community participation
• Identifying clinical risks and driving continuous improvement

What you'll bring

Experience in disability services or Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is advantageous, but not essential. We're keen to hear from strong clinical leaders with transferable experience in residential aged care, complex care or other healthcare settings who are ready to make a difference in disability services.
