Job summary

Calvary Health Care Kogarah in Sydney is seeking a Clinical Neuropsychologist to provide and coordinate a high‑quality neuropsychological service for community dwelling patients in the Georges River and Bayside areas.

You will conduct neuropsychological assessments for older adults, interpret psychometric data, and prepare comprehensive reports, working within a multidisciplinary team and, when required, independently.

Qualifications

• APAC-accredited Masters or Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology and AHPRA registration (or working towards).
• Clinical knowledge of neurological diseases in older persons.
• Experience in neuropsychological assessment of older adults and interpretation of psychometric data.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and independently.
• Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems.

About the role

The Clinical Neuropsychologist provides and coordinates an effective, high quality clinical neuropsychological service to community dwelling patients in the Georges River and Bayside local government areas.

Your main duties will include:

• Neuropsychological assessments for people over 65years or disorders related to aging

Selection Criteria:

• Minimum two year full-time (or part-time equivalent) APAC-accredited Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Neuropsychology and current full registration with AHPRA as a psychologist with endorsement in clinical neuropsychology (or working towards same),
• Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge of neurological diseases of older persons, clients with impaired capacity and knowledge of legislation applicable to individuals with such impairments
• Experience in the neuropsychological assessment of older adults, interpretation of psychometric data and provision of neuropsychological assessment reports
• Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills, organisational skills and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team as well as independently
• Demonstrated computer literacy with ability to learn new systems easily
• Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah
