Job summary

The Australian Psychological Society Limited seeks a Clinical Supervisor to lead and develop offender programs within Corrective Services across Western Australia. You will oversee evidence-based, therapeutic interventions for offenders in custody and in the community, guiding staff and ensuring high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Accredited psychology degree with AHPRA registration or social work with AASW membership.
• Proven clinical leadership and supervision experience.
• Ability to deliver evidence-based, culturally responsive services.

Responsibilities

• Lead evidence-based clinical practice within the Offender Programs team.
• Identify and resolve complex clinical issues and build clinicians' capabilities through training, supervision and ongoing professional development.
• Support clinical staff to develop high ethical, professional practice.
• Further develop your clinical skills by conducting assessments with and delivering interventions to offenders with complex needs.
• Provide expert clinical advice to management and other stakeholders involved with offender management.
• Build collaborative relationships across clinical, custodial and support teams to deliver rehabilitation services.
