Job summary

Barwon Health is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to provide clinical leadership and oversight for day-to-day care delivery within the unit. You will collaborate with residents, families and multidisciplinary staff to sustain high standards of care and wellbeing, while guiding the nursing team in assessment, planning and review processes.

The role requires current AHPRA registration, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, and prior experience in residential aged care.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
• Experience in residential aged care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership, guidance and support to nursing and care staff.
• Oversee delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
• Monitor residents' clinical needs and ensure appropriate assessment, care planning and review.
