Job summary

Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Coordinator for the Haematology Biobank at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. The role supports development and ongoing management of the biobank within a multidisciplinary clinical and research team.

You will contribute to clinical research activities, maintain documentation, manage biospecimens, and coordinate ethics/governance submissions while collaborating with clinicians, nurses and scientists to advance haematology research and patient care.

Qualifications

• Medico-legal, privacy and ethical requirements for research (ICH-GCP).
• Experience in clinical research including secure data management and trial data collection.
• Experience coordinating trial participants and understanding HREC and RGO submissions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate documentation and protect patient confidentiality.
• Support patient recruitment and consent processes.
• Process and manage biospecimens in a laboratory environment.
• Coordinate ethics and governance submissions and liaise with stakeholders.
• Maintain the research database through data entry, reconciliation and quality monitoring.
