Job summary

Department of Health in Alice Springs seeks a Clinical Director (Psychiatry) to provide strategic and clinical leadership across Mental Health Services in the Central Australia Region. You will lead specialist medical teams and shape the future direction of regional mental health care.

You will work closely with executives to deliver culturally responsive services, balancing senior leadership with clinical practice in a diverse, remote setting.

Job description

Full-time or Part time, fixed term up to 5 years.

Alice Springs, Northern Territory

Salary $270,033 - $298,705

Plus, generous allowances and professional development leave.

• Specialist Private Practice Allowance, Category B**: 50% of ordinary annual salary per annum (approximately $138,662 - $153,385)
• Other allowances available as per Medical Officers NTPS 2026 - 2029 Enterprise Agreement,

In addition, we offer:
