Job summary

NSW Health's Ryde Hospital Dietetics team is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide nutrition care across acute, sub-acute wards and outpatients, based on workload demand, with weekend/public holiday Dietetic service rosters.

This permanent, full‑time role offers professional development opportunities within a large, evolving hospital campus undergoing significant redevelopment to enhance emergency, ICU and inpatient services.

Qualifications

Bachelor or post graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia.
Commitment to participation in professional development, quality improvement activities and workplace education.
Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required).
Proven ability to work independently and to establish effectively collaboratively working relationships within a multi-disciplinary team and inter-agency networks.

Responsibilities

Assist with nutrition care across the acute, sub-acute (rehabilitation) wards and outpatients based on workload demand.
Participate in the provision of the face to face weekend/public holiday Dietetic service on the Ryde Hospital campus (acute care and sub-acute care) for long weekends as rostered.
