NSW Health is seeking a Data Analyst in Penrith to support Clinical Costing & Activity, contributing to costing, activity funding, and BI reporting. You will translate complex healthcare data into actionable insights for planning and performance across NBMLHD.

The role requires proficiency with Power BI, MS SQL Server, and Python, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. NBMLHD offers varied professional development opportunities and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualifications in health informatics, health information management, data analytics, accounting, commerce, economics or related discipline.
Experience with using Activity and Financial Data for clinical costing.
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
Experience with major health information systems and reporting tools.
Experience extracting and manipulating data from large healthcare databases for costing and analytics.

Responsibilities

Transform complex healthcare data into actionable insights for strategic planning and decision-making.
Support clinical costing, activity-based funding, and BI reporting across NBMLHD.
Collaborate with NSW Health stakeholders to deliver high-quality analytics outcomes.
