Job summary

Southern NSW Local Health District in Sydney offers a permanent full-time Clinical Coordinator position at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. You will lead and coordinate daily operating theatre activities, supported by a strong perioperative nursing background, with a focus on patient flow and compliance with best practice and legislation.

The role requires ongoing collaboration with Nurse Unit Managers and clinical staff, delivering high-quality patient care while advancing performance

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Extensive post registration experience in a relevant clinical area with clinical management experience in a tertiary/district health care facility.
• Demonstrated proficient problem solving skills and experience in Performance Development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily activities of the operating theatres.
• Demonstrate a strong perioperative nursing background in a hands-on clinical capacity.
• Work with and support other Nurse Unit Managers and Clinical staff.
• Manage patient flow within operating theatres and ensure compliance with best practice and legislation.

Nurse Unit Manager Level 1 Coordinates the daily activities of the operating theatres. The prospective candidate will need a strong perioperative nursing background. As the Nurse Unit Manager Level 1, you will be responsible for working with and supporting other Nurse Unit Managers and Clinical staff in a hands-on clinical capacity. Primary responsibility includes the management of patient flow within operating theatres. Achieving excellence in the delivery of patient care in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
