NSW Health in Concord is seeking a Clinical Coordinator (Nurse Unit Manager Level 1) for a permanent full-time role at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. The role focuses on coordinating operating theatres, managing patient flow, and supporting nursing leadership to ensure high-quality care.

Ideal candidates will hold AHPRA registration, have extensive post-registration clinical and management experience, and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities in a health-care setting.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Extensive post-registration clinical experience with management experience in a tertiary/district health care facility.
• Demonstrated proficient problem solving skills and experience in Performance Development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of operating theatres.
• Manage patient flow within operating theatres.
• Support other Nurse Unit Managers and clinical staff in a hands-on clinical capacity.
• Deliver patient care in line with best practice and legislative requirements.

Nurse Unit Manager Level 1 Coordinates the daily activities of the operating theatres. The prospective candidate will need a strong perioperative nursing background. As the Nurse Unit Manager Level 1, you will be responsible for working with and supporting other Nurse Unit Managers and Clinical staff in a hands-on clinical capacity. Primary responsibility includes the management of patient flow within operating theatres. Achieving excellence in the delivery of patient care in line with best practice and legislative requirements.

Ideal Candidate

• Current unencumbered Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Extensive post registration experience in a relevant clinical area with clinical management experience in a tertiary/district health care facility.
• Demonstrated proficient problem solving skills and experience in Performance Development.
