Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Clinical Consultant to join the Upper Extremities team in Sydney. You will support complex surgeries, providing both clinical guidance and technical expertise to surgeons and staff.

The role includes in-theatre support and training on Stryker products, with day-to-day planning and administration of clinical activities. A Bachelor's degree in Allied Health and 1–2+ years in a healthcare setting are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Allied Health or related field.
  • 1–2+ years in a healthcare, clinical or patient-facing role.
  • Full, unrestricted Australian driver's license.
  • Experience in operating theatres or surgical settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Be the go-to expert during complex Upper Extremities surgeries, providing technical and clinical support.
  • Provide clinical in-theatre support for Stryker products.
  • Deliver training and ongoing support to hospital staff on Stryker products.
  • Plan and administer daily clinical support activities for Stryker products.

About the Role:
  • You’ll be the go-to expert during complex Upper Extremities surgeries, providing both technical and clinical expertise to surgeons and hospital staff.

  • Provide clinical in theatre support for Stryker products

  • Provide training and support for hospital staff in their use of Stryker products

  • Day to day and ongoing planning and administration associated with clinical support for Stryker products

We’ll provide you with thorough training to ensure you’re fully equipped to support surgical teams and deliver exceptional results.

  • This is a role for someone who is committed. If you’vedone your research on Strykerand are excited about the impact of our products, we want to hear from you

  • A bachelor's degree in Allied Health, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Nursing, Medical Science, Biomedical Engineering, Chiropractic, Osteopathy, Podiatry or a related discipline

  • 1-2+ years of experience in a healthcare, clinical or patient-facing role

  • Full, unrestricted Australian driver's license

Highly Regarded but Not Essential
  • Experience in operating theatres or supporting surgical environments

  • Exposure to medical devices, healthcare technology or anatomy-focused roles

  • Confidence engaging with clinicians and delivering training or education
