Job summary

ATSICHS Brisbane is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our permanent full-time team in Logan Central. You will support clinical teams with client assessments, care plans, and recalls, promoting culturally safe care within an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, continuous improvement, and engagement with community partners, ensuring seamless service delivery and alignment with AGPAL accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• Full un-restricted AHPRA registration.
• Ability to support a continuous improvement model for achieving outcomes.
• Decisive listening, influencing and persuasive skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing practice within an Aboriginal primary health care model of service by assisting the primary health care team and effectively plan workload to achieve results.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organisations, hospitals, and other stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the Primary Health Clinic, integrating culturally safe practices.
• Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of ATSICHS Policy and procedures in line with AGPAL Accreditation Standards.

As a key member of the ATSICHS Brisbane team, the Registered Nurse provides critical thinking and analysis to the clinical team, collaborating with clinicians and health workers ensuring efficient client assessment, workflow and maintaining care plans is in place. Registered Nurses work with the clinic team to provide continuity of care; client follow up and recalls.

• Bachelor's degree in nursing of higher.

• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Primary Health Care.
• Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes.
• Evidence of Work Rights.

Preferred

• Knowledge of and experience working with - MMEx.
