Job summary

MOR. Healthcare is recruiting a Behaviour Support Practitioner for a well established allied health provider in Ballarat. It is a clinic based role with a genuinely manageable caseload, working with community clients funded through the NDIS, Aged Care and privately.

There is real on-site supervision by a senior practitioner, and entry level candidates are welcomed with proper support. Flexible hours and the option of salaried or subcontractor work are provided, with professional development

Qualifications

• A relevant bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, speech pathology, developmental education, behavioural science or similar.
• NDIS Commission suitability as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, at any level, or eligibility and willingness to apply.
• Current driver’s license.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check and Police Check, or ability to obtain them.
• AHPRA registration is not required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Functional behaviour assessments and writing and reviewing behaviour support plans.
• Training and coaching support teams and working with families and stakeholders to reduce restrictive practices.
• Improve quality of life for adults and paediatric clients in community settings.
