Job summary

The University of Queensland, based at St Lucia, invites applications for a part-time (0.4 FTE), fixed-term role supporting the Chair in Climate Action and Ethical Transitions and the Net Zero Observatory within the UQ Business School. Qualifications

• Experience in stakeholder engagement, partnerships or program management.
• Strong operational and project management capability with ability to coordinate competing priorities, timelines and deliverables.
• Excellent written communication and ability to tailor information for academic, policy, industry and community audiences.
• Experience across academia, policy, industry or not-for-profit sectors.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, coordinate industry and policy engagement, and support relationships with business, philanthropy and community stakeholders.
• Translate research findings into briefing notes, reports, impact summaries and other outputs for diverse audiences.
• Coordinate projects, events, budgets, timelines, reporting, grant administration and compliance activities.
• Navigate university systems and coordinate procurement, HR processes, event logistics and external communications; identify opportunities for improvement.
