Unknown Company in Melbourne's outer eastern suburbs is seeking a Client Services & Administration Officer to support accounting practice operations, corporate secretarial tasks, AML/CTF compliance, and client onboarding. We're a long-established accounting and business advisory firm based in Melbourne's outer eastern suburbs, and we're looking for an experienced Client Services & Administration Officer to join forces with us.
Our new team member will ideally be familiar with public practice administration, corporate secretarial tasks, handling AML/CTF requirements, Tax Administration and General Administration Support, however we are open to candidates with similar experience in another professional environment (such as a legal firm).
You'll work closely with the entire team, supporting the firm across corporate secretarial services, client onboarding, entity establishment and compliance - and to help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Establishing new companies, trusts and other business structures
Preparing and processing company and trust changes
Corporate secretarial administration and maintenance of company records
Assisting with client takeovers and onboarding processes
Actioning ATO correspondence and client queries via ATO Mate
Liaising with the ATO on behalf of clients regarding tax and compliance matters
Assisting with AML compliance, including client identification and verification requirements
Maintaining accurate client records and practice management databases
Liaising with clients, accountants and regulatory bodies
Providing occasional reception support when required
Ideally, you will have at least 3 years' experience working within a public practice accounting firm, or alternatively a similar professional environment
Has strong experience with ASIC compliance and corporate secretarial administration
Understands business structures, including companies, trusts and SMSFs
Has experience establishing entities and processing company and trust changes
Is highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
Enjoys building relationships and providing outstanding client service
Can confidently manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Communicates professionally and confidently with clients and colleagues
Takes ownership of their work and enjoys solving problems
Enjoys working as part of a supportive and collaborative team
Experience using CAS360
Experience managing client takeovers
Experience dealing with ATO correspondence and compliance matters
