Job summary

Australian Unity is seeking a Client Operations Specialist to join the Wealth & Capital Markets team in Melbourne. You will deliver high-quality operational support to investors and advisers, coordinate onboarding, and manage client data across systems with a service‑driven mindset.

  • Deliver first-line service to investors and financial advisers via phone and email.
  • Process investor transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, switches and maintenance requests.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new investors and support fund investments.
  • Maintain accurate client and transaction data across systems with strong attention to detail.
  • Support the preparation of reporting, client communications and operational documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Distribution, Operations, Legal, Compliance and Finance.

About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a Client Operations Specialist to join Australian Unity’s Wealth & Capital Markets team, supporting a market leading real estate funds management business with approximately $4 billion in assets under management.

This role sits within the Select Income Fund team and is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships while delivering high quality operational support in a fast-paced financial services environment. You will play a key role in providing exceptional service to investors and advisers, coordinating transactions and onboarding activities, and supporting the ongoing administration of investment operations.

Working closely with teams across Product, Distribution, Operations, Marketing, Compliance and Finance, you will gain broad exposure to real estate investment products while contributing to a collaborative and customer focused culture.

What you’ll do
  • Deliver exceptional service and first line support to investors and financial advisers via phone and email
  • Process investor transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, switches and maintenance requests accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new investors and support the investment of additional funds
  • Maintain accurate client and transaction data across relevant systems with strong attention to detail
  • Support the preparation of reporting, client communications and operational documentation
  • Build strong working relationships across internal teams including Distribution, Operations, Legal, Compliance and Finance
About You:

You will bring previous experience in customer service, client operations or administration within financial services, along with a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer outcomes. You are highly organised, detail oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

You will have excellent communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders. Experience within investments, wealth management, funds management or mortgage products will be highly regarded, along with strong Excel and data management capabilities. Most importantly, you will bring a proactive mindset, a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for providing exceptional service.
