Job summary

STATE STREET CORPORATION is seeking an Client Implementation AVP in Australia to coordinate and drive all stages of business changes and new installations. You will work with Investment Operations, Client Relationship Managers, and external providers to ensure timely delivery and robust controls.

• Deliver end-to-end client implementation events across SSIM Australia, including mandate installations, ISDA account maintenance, in-specie transitions, client terminations and broker onboarding.
• Coordinate and support product launches with internal stakeholders to ensure controlled implementation and go-live.
• Jointly oversee KYC activities including new investor due diligence and ongoing screening to ensure regulatory compliance.

Who are we looking for?

The primary role of the Client Implementation Assistant Vice President is the coordination and efficient implementation of all stages of the business changes implementation and new business installations for State Street Investment Management in Australia. Reporting to the Head of Client Implementation, you will interact with various key stakeholders including the Investment Operations team, Client Relationship Managers, the Client Service team, Portfolio Managers, and third-party providers to ensure efficient coordination and timely completion of any business changes and new business implementation events. The role also includes project and continuous improvement work streams.

What you will be responsible for

As Client Implementation Assistant Vice President, you will Deliver end‑to‑end client implementation events across clients managed by State Street Investment Management Australia, including new mandate installations, ISDA account maintenance, in‑specie transitions, client terminations, benchmark and custody changes, and new broker onboarding. Ensure all required set‑ups are completed accurately and on time across relevant internal systems. Coordinate and support product launches, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure controlled implementation and successful delivery through to go‑live. Support the review of new mandates and products to ensure a clear understanding of operational, regulatory, and delivery risks prior to implementation. Operate in line with the Risk Excellence framework by complying with established procedures, performing regular reviews of operational controls, and adhering to the incident identification and reporting process. Actively contribute to a culture of effective challenge and continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies, recommending enhancements, and supporting the implementation of operational improvements. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support effective coordination and delivery of client events. Participate in new business implementation, change, and transformation initiatives as required, supporting broader strategic and operational objectives. Jointly oversee KYC activities, including new investor due diligence and ongoing investor screening, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements. Partner with stakeholders to deliver initiatives projects and transformation programs
