Australian Financial Planning Group is seeking a Financial Planning Assistant to support advisers, manage day-to-day client service tasks, and maintain smooth admin workflows. You will be the trusted client contact, helping with opt-ins, reviews, and diary management, ensuring timely delivery of quality financial planning outcomes.

The role suits someone with 2+ years in a similar field, a commitment to exceptional service, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar Financial Planning Assistant or advice support role.
Genuine commitment to providing exceptional client service.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time-management and organisational capability.
High level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Acting as the first point of contact for clients and managing day-to-day enquiries.
Supporting Advisers and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Working collaboratively with Advisers, Paraplanners, and support teams to ensure quality advice and outstanding client outcomes.
Coordinating client opt-ins, review cycles, and ongoing workflows.
Taking ownership of administrative support functions including proofing documents, meeting preparation, and follow-up.
Managing and coordinating Adviser diaries.
Greeting clients on arrival and answering and directing incoming calls.
