Job summary

Aware Super in Sydney is seeking a Financial Planner to nurture trusted client relationships, attract and service members, and deliver tailored financial planning advice. This role is based in our Sydney office and requires 3 days per week in the office to meet member appointment requests.

You will prepare Statements of Advice (SOAs), adhere to compliance standards, and collaborate with the Client Servicing team to raise the standard of client care and outcomes for our members.

Qualifications

• Licensing to provide personal financial advice as required by the regulatory framework.
• Educational qualifications meeting FASEA standards are expected.
• Industry knowledge and tenure demonstrating depth of financial planning expertise.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate enduring client relationships, effectively attracting, servicing, and retaining clients.
• Engage in insightful conversations, guiding clients towards retirement aspirations.
• Always act in the best interest of clients, advocating their financial well-being.
• Serve as a key client-facing member of the Financial Planning Network with flexible consultation options (on-site/off-site, in person/by phone/video).
• Diligently prepare Statements of Advice (SOAs) and uphold compliance and advisory excellence.
• Collaborate with the Client Servicing team to elevate client care and outcomes.
