SCS Group is seeking reliable Cleaning Team Members to join our team at Chadstone for MECCA. We offer three full-time and two part-time positions, with varied shifts across weekdays and weekends to suit different schedules.

The role focuses on maintaining a clean, organized retail environment and supporting store objectives. Ideal candidates have keen attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team, delivering high presentation standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or retail cleaning is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills; ability to prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness and presentation across the store, including sinks, handwashing stations, treatment areas, fixtures, displays, shelving and customer-facing areas.
• Cleaning high-traffic areas during trading hours and performing spot cleaning of fingerprints and marks.
• Dusting testers, fixtures and displays to maintain high presentation standards.
• Checking, emptying and replacing bins, removing rubbish and completing bin runs.
• Replenishing tester consumables and other supplies as required.
• Completing post-weekend store resets and identifying cleaning priorities for the week.
• Responding promptly to urgent cleaning requests and providing support during busy periods.
• Assisting with back-of-house requirements and other duties as directed by Supervisor/Management.
• Following WHS requirements, company procedures, and site standards; reporting issues to management.

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Team Members to join our team at Chadstone, for our client MECCA. The successful candidates will play an important role in maintaining a clean, organised and beautifully presented retail environment, ensuring the store meets high standards of cleanliness and presentation for both customers and team members.

Reporting to the Client Services Manager, you will uphold SCS Group’s Core Values of Enterprising, Passion, Integrity and Collaboration while delivering consistent, high-quality cleaning services.

Available Positions & Working Hours

We have three full-time positions and two part-time positions available.

Full-Time Positions

• Full-Time Position 1: Wednesday to Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm & Saturday to Sunday, 9:30 am – 5:00 pm
• Full-Time Position 2: Wednesday, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm & Thursday to Sunday, 1:30 pm – 9:00 pm
• Full-Time Position 3: Monday and Tuesday (Site Lead Responsibilities) 9:00 am – 5:00 pm & Friday 6:00 am – 2:00 pm & Saturday to Sunday 6:30 am – 2:00 pm

Part-Time Positions

• Part-Time Position 1: Monday and Tuesday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Part-Time Position 2: Monday and Tuesday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining cleanliness and presentation across the store, including sinks, handwashing stations, treatment areas, the mezzanine, fixtures, displays, shelving and customer-facing areas.
• Cleaning and maintaining high-traffic areas throughout trading hours, including spot cleaning fingerprints, marks and other visible dirt.
• Carrying out product, tester, fixture and display dusting to maintain high presentation standards.
• Checking, emptying and replacing bins, removing rubbish and completing scheduled bin runs.
• Replenishing tester consumables and other supplies where required.
• Completing post-weekend store resets and identifying cleaning and presentation priorities ahead of the trading week.
• Responding promptly to urgent cleaning requests and providing additional cleaning support during busy trading periods.
• Assisting with back-of-house (BOH) requirements and other duties as directed by the Supervisor or Management.
• Following all workplace health and safety requirements, company procedures and site-specific standards.
• Reporting maintenance issues, damages, supply shortages or other concerns to the appropriate Manager.

Additional Responsibilities – Full-Time Position 3

The Full-Time Position 3 will also take on site lead responsibilities on Mondays and Tuesdays, including:

• Directing and coordinating the two part-time relief cleaning team members.
• Managing cleaning requests, response cleaning and back-of-house requirements.
• Coordinating cleaning team member entry and exit arrangements as required.
• Overseeing post-weekend store resets and setting daily cleaning priorities.
• Working systematically through allocated store zones to complete detailed product, tester, shelving and display dusting.
• Ensuring product and display areas are clean, detailed and presentation-ready ahead of weekend trade.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• Available to commence from late November 2026.
• Previous experience in commercial cleaning, retail cleaning or a similar environment is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining excellent cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
• A reliable, proactive attitude and the ability to respond to changing cleaning priorities.
• For the Full-Time 3 position, the ability to coordinate team members, manage daily priorities and take responsibility for site presentation.
• The ability to provide a National Police Check upon request.
• Current legal working rights in Australia.
