Job summary

Millennium Services Group in Homebush NSW is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning team and ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities.

You will supervise a team of 20+ cleaners, manage daily site operations and rosters, prepare reports, and ensure safety and compliance on client sites.

This full-time role runs Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00–18:00, with ongoing training and opportunities to develop your career within our growing NSW operations.

Qualifications

• Strong cleaning experience required.
• Minimum 2 years in supervisory/management role.
• Experience managing 20+ staff rosters.
• Flexible roster within operating hours 5:00 AM - 8:00 PM.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experiencedCleaning Supervisorto lead our cleaning team and ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities at Homebush NSW.

This role is ideal for individuals who love working in a fast-paced environment, have great attention to detail, and enjoy creating clean and welcoming spaces for our clients and customers.

One Full-time position available.

Wednesday- Sunday: 10.00-18.00

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support a team of 20 + cleaners.
• Manage daily site operations and staff rosters.
• Prepare reports and complete administrative tasks.
• Oversee stock control and equipment/machine management.
• Effective task scheduling to ensure deadlines and SLAs are met.
• Ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
• Assigning duties, conducting spot checks, and ensuring task completion.
• Supporting staff with guidance and mentorship.
• Oversee and participate in daily cleaning operations within the store.
• Meet rotations and KPI's for our client site.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure all tools are in good working condition.
• Respond to client requests and feedback
• Maintain Rosters and provide shift coverage when required
• Recruit and onboard new team members
• Taking immediate and appropriate action during accidents or hazards.

About You:

• Strong cleaning experience is required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar supervisory/management role.
• Previous roster management experience for teams of 20+ staff.
• Flexible roster within operating hours of 5:00 AM - 8:00 PM.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Good client management skills.
• Ability to train and mentor staff effectively.
• Knowledge and experience of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• Basic computer and phone application knowledge.
• Ability to verify certain requirements.
• Knowledge of TBT training, roster management, stock ordering.

You must have valid work rights in Australia.
