Job Summary

The Venue Cleaning Manager is the heartbeat of a clean, safe, and welcoming Burleigh Pavilion. You’ll lead our cleaning team, get hands-on when needed, and make sure every corner of the venue looks its best. From rosters to supplies, compliance to morale, you’ll keep everything running smoothly while setting the standard for the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead & Inspire: Motivate and manage the cleaning team. Keep morale high, coach where needed, and lead by example.
  • Hands-On Cleaning: Jump in on the floor—cleaning is a priority, and your team will follow your lead.
  • Rosters & Budgets: Plan staff schedules, monitor forecast wages and percentages, and make sure labor runs efficiently.
  • Council Compliance: Check over compliance cleaning lists and make sure standards are always met.
  • Supplies & Equipment: Keep stock levels in check, order what’s needed, and ensure equipment is safe and ready to go.
  • Quality Control: Regularly inspect all areas, fix issues fast, and keep the venue spotless.
  • Safety & Hygiene: Ensure all cleaning practices meet health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Team & Guest Experience: Keep the venue looking top-notch for guests and a safe, efficient environment for staff. Communicate clearly with managers and support events.
