Job summary

Catholic Healthcare is hiring a cleaner at Coolamon Villa in Mullumbimby. You will join a team ensuring a high standard of cleanliness in residents' rooms and communal areas, while supporting colleagues and following safety policies.

Prior cleaning experience is preferred, and compassion for elderly residents is valued. The role offers part-time hours (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 8:00–13:00) with competitive pay and not-for-profit benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cleaner desirable.
• Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with residents and families.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.

As a member of the Cleaning team at Coolamon Villa, you will be providing high quality cleaning services for our residents within our residential aged care home, ensuring residents rooms and common areas are clean and presentable.

About The Role

To be successful in this role you’ll need

• A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Previous experience working as a cleaner ideally
• Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
• Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
• A reliable team player
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
