Job summary

RSL LifeCare in Hawks Nest is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Assistant for our Residential Care teams. You will ensure cleanliness across designated areas, replenish supplies, and maintain a safe, compliant environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Adherence to general cleaning schedule; keep all areas clean.
• Check and replenish supplies (soap, towels, toilet paper).
• Check cleaning chemicals and refill containers as needed.
• Spot clean spills; maintain a safe work environment.
• Ensure safe handling and use of chemicals per policy.
• Comply with WHS policies and instructions; support residents and visitors.

About the role:

• Adherence to general cleaning schedule ensuring all areas area maintained at an acceptable level of cleanliness.
• Check and replenish supplies such as liquid soap, paper towels, toilet paper etc.
• Check supply of cleaning chemicals and fill containers as required.
• Spot clean spills
• Ensure safe handling and use of chemicals.
• Comply with relevant RSL LifeCare WHS policies, procedures, and reasonable instruction
• Maintain a safe work environment and take reasonable care for others' health and safety(including visitors, Community members, team members and contractors)
