Job summary

Woolworths Group is looking for team members to join the Proactive Services cleaning and trolley collection team at our stores. You will help keep our stores hygienically clean and ensure trolleys are readily available for customers.

You'll work alongside a dedicated team, with training provided on equipment and safety, and flexible options to fit your lifestyle. This role offers opportunities for growth within a large, nationwide retailer.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness is essential for this role.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift loads between 5-10kgs.
• Flexible to work across different environments including shop floor, fridges and carparks.
• Able to assist customers and provide directions in store.

Responsibilities

• Sweep the shop floor and clean walls, bathrooms, trolley bays and team room.
• Collect trolleys from car park and surrounding areas.
• Work across departments to meet cleaning needs.
• Assist customers in store by answering questions or giving directions.
• Receive full training on equipment and tools used on the job.

About The Role

Here at Woolies, we have a team called Proactive Services that ensures trolleys are available to use and that our stores are in pristine condition - this enables our Customers (and your colleagues) to experience an environment that is hygienically clean to work and shop in. You'll work side-by-side with your team whilst bringing a little good to everyone, every day.

What You'll Do

• Complete tasks allocated to you in the daily planner such as sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays and team room and emptying bins


• Collecting trolleys on foot from the car park and surrounding areas


• Work across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs


• Help our customers in store by answering questions or providing directions


• Full training in operating a variety of equipment and tools that make your job easier and safer

What You'll Bring

• Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 5pm
