Job summary

NX Blue is recruiting Room Cleaners / Housekeepers and Ancillary Workers for General Services on the Snowy 2.0 project. Immediate start with a minimum of 6 months work and high probability of ongoing employment, cleaning accommodation rooms and common areas across the site.

Successful candidates will have housekeeping experience, be physically fit, able to work in a remote, cold environment, and pass medical and police checks. Right to work in Australia and a white-card induction are required.

NX Blue are currently recruiting for Room Cleaners / House keepers, Ancillary Worker within General Services for Immediate start on the Snowy 2.0 project assisting with room cleans and general cleaning and associated duties across the project. This is a minimum of 6 months work with very high probability of it being ongoing work. These roles are working in a team cleaning accommodation rooms / common rooms and associated cleaning duties. It is beneficial to NXBLUE and the project if you are able to start immediately after successful medical and Police Check but this can take approximately 4 weeks depending on individual circumstances.

• Ancillary Worker / General duties as part of General Services Team

The successful candidate will have experience in:

• Working as key member in our housekeeping/Peggy team
• Ensuring guests at our village's return to rooms with clean crisp sheets, a tidy room, freshly laundered towels and a clean shower that can wash away the grit of a hard day’s work
• Maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment
• Housekeeping/cleaning experience
• Be flexible and adaptable with a can-do attitude
• Ability to work within a team and autonomously when required
• Time Management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Physically fit and able to stand on their feet for up to 10 hours per day
• cleaning of amenities, office buildings, crib huts
• assisting with moving stock and parts around site

You must currently hold the following tickets/licences:

• Drivers licence advantageous
• High Risk Work Licence – LF highly regarded
• General Construction Induction training (white card)
• Right to work in Australia
• Be able to pass medical and a criminal history check

These positions are in remote challenging areas with extreme cold temperatures which need to be considered before applying for these roles.
