Job summary

City is seeking reliable cleaners for casual evening shifts in Emerald. Work is Monday to Friday, 7pm–9pm, with duties including cleaning activity rooms, sanitising surfaces, dusting and mopping, and safe use of cleaning chemicals.

Great pay with casual loading and uniform/PPE provided. Applicants should have a positive attitude, be willing to learn, and have working rights in Australia. A smartphone for work comms is required.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• Must have a smartphone for work communication.
• Valid working rights in Australia are required.
• Driver’s license and own car are preferred; WWCC may be requested.

Responsibilities

• Clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces like handles and switches.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean doors and windows.
• Safely use chemicals, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and kneeling.
• Follow all OH&S policies and procedures.
