Job summary

Queensland Department of Education – North Coast QLD is hiring for a school cleaning role at Baringa State Primary School on the Sunshine Coast. The position offers split shifts from Monday to Friday with attractive hourly rates and potential eligibility for a split shift allowance.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise windows, surfaces, fixtures, drinking fountains, toilets, sick bays, glass doors and cupboards.
• Maintain cleanliness across school grounds and buildings, including paved areas, drains, gutters and the removal of rubbish, litter, graffiti, cobwebs and mildew.
• Dust, sweep, vacuum and hose areas, including student and office furniture, equipment and fans.
• Clean and maintain flooring, including vinyl and timber floors through buffing, stripping and polishing.
• Clean and maintain equipment and undertake other cleaning duties as directed by the Principal or Business Manager.
