Job summary

Heart of Yorkshire Education Group is seeking a reliable cleaner to join the Estates department. You will perform a range of cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for building users, including dusting, mopping, carpet and floor cleaning, and glass cleaning.

The role requires prior cleaning experience and training in COSHH and Health & Safety, or a willingness to undertake this training. We offer generous leave and a contributory pension scheme as part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in facilities
• Knowledge of cleaning protocols
• Willingness to undertake COSHH/Health & Safety training if not already trained

• Dust and dust furniture and fittings
• Clean sanitary fittings
• Damp and wet mop floors
• Clean carpets with electrical carpet cleaner
• Polish and scrub floors with electrical scrubbers
• Clean internal glass surfaces

Job description

As a member of the Estates department, you will provide cleaning services to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for all building users.

• Cleaning of sanitary fittings
• Damp and wet mopping
• Cleaning carpets with an electrical carpet cleaner
• Polishing and scrubbing floors using electrical scrubbing machines
• Cleaning internal glass
