Maid My Day is hiring a Casual/Temporary Cleaner role in Edmonton, QLD.

Job Description: Are you passionate about helping elderly Australians remain in their homes by assisting with domestic tasks? If so, Maid My Day needs you! We are urgently hiring reliable and caring cleaners to provide domestic assistance services for elderly individuals in Maroochydore, QLD

About Us: Maid My Day has been providing cleaning services within the Australian Aged Care Industry since 2006. Our mission is to help elderly Australians continue living independently in their homes by providing high-quality domestic assistance services.

The Role:

Visit elderly clients in Edmonton, QLD on a regular basis to assist with household tasks, including cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, changing bed linens, and general tidying. Help with small shopping tasks and offer companionship to clients. Report any concerns for the welfare of your clients to our office. You will start with 5 hours in your first week, gradually increasing to 15-25 hours per week. Your client visits will be close to your home, minimizing travel time between locations.

What You Need:
  • Experience in domestic or residential cleaning
  • Strong reliability and commitment to scheduled visits
  • Basic English communication skills
  • Willingness to travel between client homes (via public transport or own vehicle)
  • A current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (or possess a medical exemption certificate)
  • Driver’s license and car preferred but not required
