Job summary

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking a motivated cleaner to provide high-quality cleaning services at Yulara Clinic, with back-up support to the Transport Officer as required.

This Aboriginal identified position requires being of Aboriginal descent, living in Yulara, and the ability to work various shifts including some weekends. The role offers a casual contract with a competitive hourly rate and benefits.

Qualifications

• Aboriginal descent required and identified as Aboriginal by community.
• Experience or knowledge in cleaning procedures.
• Understanding of infection control standards or willingness to learn.
• Ability to perform physically demanding cleaning tasks.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and materials used.
• Ability to work any shift including some weekends.
• Current NT Drivers License.

$39 - $41 per hour (Includes 25% casual loading)

About the role

Congress is seeking a motivated cleaner to provide high-quality cleaning services at Yulara Clinic. The position also provides back-up support to the Transport Officer as required.

What are we looking for?

• Is of Aboriginal descent; identifies as an Aboriginal person; and is accepted as an Aboriginal person by the Aboriginal community.
• Practical experience and / or knowledge in cleaning procedures.
• An understanding of infection Control Standards or a willingness to learn.
• Ability to perform physically demanding cleaning task.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and materials used.
• Ability to work any shift and including some weekends.
• Current NT Drivers Licence.
