Qualifications

• SC1: Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.
• SC2: Demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing high impact teaching strategies.
• SC3: Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning using data to inform teaching practice.
• SC4: Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate with students, parents and staff.
• SC5: Demonstrated behaviours consistent with Department values and commitment to professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of classroom programs in literacy and numeracy.
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and school priorities.
• Monitor student progress and use data to inform instruction and give feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, families and partners to support student wellbeing and learning.
• Mentor/coach staff as part of Range 2 classroom teacher responsibilities.
