Auto & General is recruiting for a Claims Support Consultant to ensure timely and accurate Recoveries & Settlements activities, with a focus on efficient claims processing and strong communication across teams.

The role requires attention to detail, organisation, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. In-office role based at North Lakes, with comprehensive benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Motor Claims, or related fields will be highly regarded but not necessary.
• A keen eye for detail and high degree of accuracy.
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, with effective multitasking skills.
• A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Intermediate computer skills – ability to troubleshoot and comfort working in multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage a portfolio of Auto & General cross claims
• Processing payments, updating claims information, processing inbound emails, calls and documents
• Support with outsourcing to service providers such as Tapanda, Merc Agents, Legal panel etc
• Co-ordinating F&R (fair and reasonable) assessments and undertaking follow up action
• Loading of POLs to support Settlements claims consultants in management of their claims
• Review of 180 day no contact claims to ensure operational rhythms are maintained
• Sending Proof of Loss packets to support the efficient recovery of claim costs
• Other ad hoc administrative tasks that support the effective operation of the department

The Role: The Claims Support Consultant plays a crucial role in ensuring that Recoveries & Settlements activities are undertaken in a timely, efficient and accurate manner to ensure that claims processing can occur efficiently.
