Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions, based in Sydney CBD with hybrid working, is seeking a Claims Service Specialist to join our national team. You will manage property claims from lodgement to settlement, liaising with clients, brokers and insurers to support timely, accurate outcomes.

The role emphasizes property claims experience, with motor claims a plus, and a calm, organised approach to guiding clients through each stage.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months’ experience in a claims processing role.
• Property claims experience preferred.
• Experience in an insurance brokerage environment is beneficial.
• Confidently liaising with clients, insurers and brokers by phone and email.
• Strong written and verbal communication and professional digital etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Manage property claims from lodgement through to settlement, ensuring documentation is accurate and timely.
• Act as day-to-day contact for clients, providing clear updates and supporting a positive client experience.
• Liaise with insurers, brokers, assessors and clients to progress claims and gather required information.
• Lodge claims on behalf of Nutrien Insurance clients when needed and support team with complex matters.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance products, policy requirements and claims processes.

What You'll Do:

As a Claims Service Specialist, you will be part of a very supportive national team based in Sydney CBD, with hybrid working flexibility. You will help manage claims, with a strong focus on property claims, while working closely with clients, brokers, insurers and third-party assessors to support claims from lodgement through to settlement.

• Manage property claims from lodgement through to settlement, ensuring documentation is processed accurately and within required timeframes.
• Act as a day-to-day contact for clients, providing clear updates, answering standard claims questions and supporting a positive client experience.
• Liaise with insurers, brokers, third-party assessors and clients to progress claims, follow up outstanding information and help achieve the best outcome for clients.
• Lodge claims on behalf of Nutrien Insurance clients where required, including loading information into insurer portals and supporting the team with more complex matters.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of relevant insurance products, policy requirements and claims processes to support accurate and compliant claims management.
• Contribute to a collaborative national claims team by supporting administration, sharing updates and assisting with process improvements where needed.

What You'll Bring:

You will suit this role if you have claims experience, enjoy working directly with small to medium clients and bring a calm, organised approach to managing claims through each stage of the process. Property claims experience is mandatory, motor claims experience will also be well regarded, and experience gained within a brokerage environment will be highly beneficial.

• At least 12 months’ experience in a claims processing role, with property claims experience preferred.
• Experience gained within an insurance brokerage environment will be highly beneficial.
• Motor claims experience will be viewed favourably, however property claims experience is preferred.
• Confidence liaising with clients, insurers, brokers and third-party assessors by phone and email.
• A customer-focused approach, with the ability to show empathy and professionalism when supporting clients through claims.
• Strong attention to detail, time management and follow-up skills, with the ability to prioritise competing claims tasks.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including professional digital etiquette.
• An understanding of insurance products, broking systems or claims processes will be well regarded.
• Tier 1 Insurance Broking accreditation, or willingness to obtain it.
