Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking an Estimator to join our Eastern Region Construction team in NSW. Based in Alexandria, you will support the Pre-Contracts team by delivering high-quality, competitive tenders and working across the full tender lifecycle with internal teams, subcontractors and clients.

You'll apply first principles estimating, price analysis and take-offs, coordinating subcontractor pricing while maintaining strong client and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Several years' experience pricing civil infrastructure projects from first principles.
• Strong attention to detail and a commercial mindset.
• Ability to work with internal teams, subcontractors and clients.
• Familiarity with estimating systems such as Expert Estimation.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documentation, including specifications and project requirements.
• Undertake site visits to inform methodology and pricing assumptions.
• Prepare scopes of work, quantities and resource requirements.
• Complete first-principles estimates, including take-offs and cost build-ups.
• Coordinate subcontractor pricing and carry out detailed price analysis.
• Contribute to tender submissions, reviews and handover to delivery teams.
