Job summary

Farrelly Construction Services – Newcastle NSW is seeking experienced Concrete Finishers and Steel Fixers to join our Civil Construction team for a 6-month full-time specified projects in NSW. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality civil construction with a supportive team environment.

Requirements include demonstrated experience in steel fixing or concrete finishing, a certificate of proficiency for concreting, safety training, and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role of steel fixing or concrete finishing.
• Construction white card and driver’s licence.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and plans.
• Willing to travel to sites throughout NSW.
• Experience on mining sites or large industrial infrastructure is preferred.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform steel fixing or concrete finishing on civil projects.
• Work with a team to deliver 6-month specified tasks in NSW.
• Adhere to safety standards and site procedures.
• Read and interpret drawings and plans.

We’re seeking experienced Concrete Finishers and Steel Fixers to join our Civil Construction team for a 6-month, full-time specified projects in NSW. This is an excellent opportunity to put your skills and experience to work as part of a high-performing team, contributing to the successful delivery of an exciting civil construction project.

• NSW site-based project work (not a FIFO position)
• Competitive hourly rates of $48.00–$55.00, inclusive of a $2.00 per hour site allowance
• Living Away from Home Allowance (LAHA) available for eligible employees

What we need you to have:
