Job summary

Brunton Engineering in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer or Project Manager to deliver complex civil, FRP and rail infrastructure projects. This role blends on-site problem solving with drawing reviews, subcontractor coordination and rigorous documentation to ensure projects are built safely, on time and to high standards.

You will plan formats, supervise formwork and concrete works, manage budgets and procurement, prepare ITPs and SWMS, and coordinate with management

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• Experience delivering civil construction projects with FRP works.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers and construction personnel.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of civil and structural infrastructure projects from mobilisation to completion.
• Plan and supervise FRP works including foundations, bridges, abutments and retaining walls.
• Coordinate earthworks, drainage, piling, and temporary works.
• Prepare ITPs, SWMS and project documentation.
• Manage RFIs, variations and progress reporting.
• Monitor budgets, procurement and schedules.
• Ensure quality inspections and handover documentation.
