Whitehouse Group Qld Pty Ltd – Blackwater QLD is seeking a Civil Project Manager to join our growing team in Blackwater, QLD 4717. This full-time role oversees civil construction projects from inception to completion, with an optional Sub-Contractor capacity under your own ABN.

You will deliver projects on time and within budget, maintaining high safety and quality standards while coordinating clients, contractors and site teams across regional Queensland.

Qualifications

• Experience as Civil Project Manager or similar in civil/mining industries.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• Strong planning, scheduling and budgeting capabilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes and industry standards.
• Ability to lead and supervise site teams and contractors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate civil construction projects with resource and timeline management.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, subcontractors and stakeholders for alignment.
• Monitor progress and budgets, identify risks and mitigation actions.

Whitehouse Group Qld Pty Ltd is seeking a Civil Project Manager to join our growing team in Blackwater, QLD 4717. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to manage and oversee civil construction projects from inception through to completion. The role is also available in a Sub-Contractor capacity, working under your own ABN.

As Civil Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This position is integral to our operations, ensuring seamless project execution and maintaining our reputation for excellence in the construction industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning, scheduling and coordinating all aspects of civil construction projects, including resource allocation and timeline management
• Liaising with clients, contractors, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project alignment
• Monitoring project progress and budget performance, identifying and mitigating risks as they arise
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant safety regulations, building codes and industry standards
• Conducting site inspections and quality assurance checks to maintain project standards
• Preparing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, reports and records
• Managing variations, claims and contractual matters in accordance with project agreements
• Leading and supervising site teams, contractors and consultants to achieve project objectives
• Resolving issues and conflicts that arise during project delivery in a professional and timely manner

WHAT WE\'RE LOOKING FOR

• Proven experience as a Civil Project Manager or similar role within the civil/mining industry, ideally managing projects of significant scope and complexity
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies
• Excellent project planning, scheduling and budgeting skills with proficiency in relevant software and tools
• Sound understanding of safety regulations, building codes and industry standards applicable to civil construction
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience supervising contractors and site personnel
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Problem-solving abilities with a pragmatic, results-oriented approach
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent professional experience
• Valid driver\'s licence and willingness to work on-site in regional Queensland
• Experience with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications
