Job summary

Hulk Earthworks Pty Ltd in Sunshine Beach, QLD, is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead civil construction projects from start to finish.

You will supervise site operations, coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, read plans, ensure safety and quality, and report progress to the management team. Join a family-run civil contractor delivering earthworks, drainage and road works across private subdivisions and infrastructure projects with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Civil project manager.
• Strong background in civil construction (earthworks, drainage, civil infrastructure, road works).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and priorities.
• Strong understanding of WHS requirements and site safety.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
• High attention to detail and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations across civil works.
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
• Enforce WHS policies, site inductions, and safety compliance.
• Interpret and manage construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Monitor progress against programme and report to Project Manager.
• Manage site documentation, daily reports, and QA records.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, surveyors, consultants, local authorities as required.
• Identify and resolve site issues efficiently.
